Lineage & Teachers

The Reclaiming Tradition has been a magical home since 2015 and I have learned much from many of the teachers, community members, and collaborators I have met within it. I have spent more extended periods learning from and being mentored by Ravyn Stanfield and Suzanne Sterling through a 13 month apprenticeship in sacred leadership (2015-2016) and by Fio Gede Parma in one-one mentorship (2024- on-going).

I have deepened my work with dreams through numerous classes and in-person work with Robert Moss, including his Dream Teacher Level 1 Training (2016-2024)

My work with the spirits is continually enriched through classes, sessions, and collective ritual with Dr Aditi Jeanette Ruth Holden. This has included work around soul recovery, seidr/seership, curse unwinding, space tending, and hands on healing. (2017 - on-going).

I owe much to clients, colleagues, and mentors throughout my work as a therapist at both the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre (2017-2021) and Peers (2020-ongoing).

I am currently a student in Somatic Sex Education.

Hi :) I am Shannon Rose, a writer and dreamer passionate about pleasure and magic as liberatory praxis. I work at the intersections of sex, magic, and healing as a witch, therapist, and student of somatic sex education.

I am a queer femme, living in Quw'utsun, the place of the Quw'utsun Hwulmuhw (colonially known as the cowichan valley on vancouver island). My ancestors made their way to Turtle Island in various waves of colonization, primarily as farmers, from the countries known as Ireland, Germany, England, and Poland. 

Potent lucid and pre-cognitive dreams from a young age brought me into the worlds of magic and spiritwork.
